The Coriolis fiber placement robots can be supplied with a positioner, which is a rotating axis interpolated with the robot axis and an optional linear axis. Productivity is thus increased due to fast and accurate orientation of the part, especially for making beams or pressure vessel.

 

Description

The positioners are a concept stemming from machine tool systems, thus offering optimal precision and rigidity, associated with high dynamics.

To increase improved flexibility of the fiber placement robotized cells, a number of combinations are possible: lifting spindles for automatic loading, automatic locking interface, counter spindles free-rotating or motorized with synchronized movement of the 2 spindles. Depending on the issue, different sizes and kinematics are feasible for loads between 1 ton and 70 tons.

► Gear box reduction that has to be defined before being ordered:

► Or max tool inertia 1500 kgm², max speed 16 rpm and max acceleration 90°/s².
