Short Brothers, a Boeing Company is assessing automation for Dry Fibre Placement (DFP) in stringer preform manufacturing for future aerospace programmes.

👉 The study focused on producing a dry fibre stringer preform using the C1.2 machine, which will be resin infused at Spirit’s Belfast facility to evaluate feasibility and part quality.
